The Joke

I used to have a neighbor named Joe King whose wife was called "Czech," so named by her parents who came from  Czechoslovakia.

Once, Czech went to the bank to open an account.  She said "I want to open an account. I'm Czech King."

The teller said, "A checking account? OK, what is your name?"

"Czech King!"

"Not the type of account, I need your name."

"That is my name!"

"You must be joking!"

"No! My husband is Joe King!"

The teller, confused, looked around. "Is he here?"

"No!"

"OK, I was just checking."

"You're not Czech King! I am! And I'm going to another bank!"
